St. Nicholas Church

About the St. Nicholas Church

This 16th century Baroque church was built over 50 years and dedicated to St. Nicholas. The church is designed in spectacular Prague Baroque and the inside is beautifully decorated in frescos by Jan Lukas Kracker and František Xaver Palko. Visitors can also see incredible sculptures by František Ignác Platzer, as well as a 4000 pipe Baroque organ that was once played by Mozart. The Church has regularly scheduled concerts and a 79 meter Belfry with breathtaking panoramic views of Prague.
