This museum’s themed displays take visitors through many years of history, starting in the 7th century when Prague was founded. Visitors can learn about: Prague in Prehistory, Mediaeval Prague, Baroque Prague, and explore various artifacts during these time periods.

Hours of Operation
9 am to 6 pm – Tuesday to Sunday
9 am to 8 pm – Last Wednesday of the month
Children under 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult that is 18 years or older.
The building is wheelchair accessible.
There is a cloakroom available to visitors touring the museum.
