About The Lesser Town Bridge Tower
This tower is at one end of Charles Bridge and is the gateway to Lesser Town. It was originally built in the mid 13th century under George of Poděbrady, King of Bohemia’s rule and was designed in a post-Hussite Gothic style. Visitors can see spectacular views of Lesser Town and the Prague Castle from the 26 meter high viewing deck.

*Ticket office closes 30 minutes before the Tower.

Tram – Malostranské náměstí Stop
Several buses stop near the tower.
Hours of Operation
10 am to 6 pm – Daily (November – February)
10 am to 8 pm – Daily (March & October)
10 am to 10 pm – Daily (April to September)
Photography is permitted without a tripod.
Children under 15 yeas old must be accompanied by an adult that is 18 years or older.
The tower is NOT wheelchair accessible.
There are several stairs to climb so this attraction may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
